Detail & Description

Hotel pictures

In Aruba, beauty and luxury go hand in hand. This paradise offers a wide variety of natural landscapes, places for leisure, and aquatic sports for you to enjoy an unforgettable holiday in Palm Beach.

The Hotel Riu Palace Aruba and the Hotel Riu Palace Antillas are located directly facing a heavenly beach and just kilometres from Oranjestad, the capital of the Caribbean island. Around these RIU all-inclusive hotels in Palm Beach, you can practise sports like wind surfing, kite surfing, snorkelling and fishing, or relax by strolling beneath the palm trees, lounging in the sun or cooling off in the crystalline waters of the Caribbean.

An island with exquisite natural spaces

The island of Aruba has interesting spots tucked away where you can discover its culture, nature and history. The Bubali Bird Sanctuary is a protected natural space where you can see gorgeous specimens and visit the Butterfly Farm to see their fascinating development and evolution. If you want to take a cultural break, we recommend you visit the Historical Museum of Aruba, located in Fort Zoutman, the oldest building in the country.

Aruba is full of natural wonders. One example is the natural pool known as Cura di Tortuga, a unique spot located on the northern side of the island where you can go snorkelling to see the brightly coloured fish that swim in it. And, if you visit Arikok National park you'll get to see ancient caves that will amaze you.

Oranjestad: the capital of the island

In Oranjestad, Aruba's capital, you can stroll through the historic centre, where a clear Dutch influence is proudly on display in its multicoloured houses, built to be tall and narrow in keeping with the Dutch style. The city, close to Palm Beach, is also a paradise for shoppers, as it has large shopping malls offering the most prestigious international brands.

Gastronomy on 'Isla Feliz'

Aruban cuisine is marked by a multicultural inheritance that is notable in its dishes, like bami goreng and nasi goreng (rice and traditional Indonesian noodles), Dutch pea soup, and pancakes accompanied by a variety of savoury and sweet condiments. Johnny cakes (fried cakes) and pan bati (a local type of pancake) take the place of traditional bread and are served with most dishes.

In Aruban restaurants you'll be able to try delicious seafood soups and many varieties of fresh fish, such as wahoo, red snapper, mahi-mahi and barracuda. You'll also get to try the traditional creole sauce made from tomatoes, peppers and onions; meat stews served with rice and beans; and pastechi, a fried cake with a variety of fillings which is considered the national snack of Aruba.

California Lighthouse:

Enjoy a setting with massive sand dunes and a panoramic view of the west coast of the island.

Boca Prins Sand Dunes:

Explore these desert settings full of cacti and aloe vera plants. Make sure to wear comfortable clothing when you visit, and don't forget to enjoy yourself by sliding down the dunes.

Rock formations:

The Casibari and Ayo rock formations present an unusual landscape that will amaze you. Some of them were used as dwellings by ancient populations.

Arikok National Park:

In this natural reserve, you'll get to contemplate rock paintings left behind by the ancient Arawak people and the typical fauna and flora of Aruba, like divi-divi trees, the authentic symbol of the country.
