The Regional Government of Madeira has passed the eco-tax. The eco-tax is a tourist tax of €2 per person per day which will be applied to all guests 13 years and older. Guests staying longer than 7 days will only pay the eco-tax for the first 7 days. The eco-tax will be paid directly at the hotel on the day of arrival.
