"amazing hotel but rude shop keeper"
Hotel is amazing. The rooms are so clean and maids are lovely! staff are all friendly and helpful. The moroccan restaurant was so good! there’s about 6 or 7 little kittens they are so adorable but hide away because they are scared. So many options at buffet loads of fresh food you don’t need to wait ages for etc eggs or bacon. Loads of fruit and vegetable options. Loads of sunbeds so you don’t need to leave the room at 6am to fight for sunbeds there’s plenty some even stacked up. Quite a nice atmosphere no fights or anything. Agadir is 100% safe for tourists had no hassle at all, you get the odd person on the street trying to sell you something but they back off as soon as you say no. I don’t have anything to complain about except from the woman at the till in the boutique / shop she was very rude. At first she wouldn’t do cash because she didn’t want to give change back for 100 durham over a pack of chewing gum. We went back later in the week to buy presents for friends / family and then apparently won’t do card she was very rude didn’t smile chat or anything kind of just looked at you. She gave us the wrong change we got 400 durham out the atm she wanted 391 for she gave us 80 cent back when she should’ve gave us 9 durham back think she was at it!!!!! some of the stuff in shop was a bit overpriced you could definetly get cheaper in the souk market. She was the only negative in the hotel that’s why i have only given 4 ⭐️ apart from that everything was great.

First visit to Dunes. Spent 10 delightful nights. Have stayed in sister hotel Takida Beach 3 times which was excellent. This time was with daughter & her friend. Dunes is more lively and suited for younger families. All staff friendly & efficient. Stayed in suite 1109 first floor (20 stair steps). Room huge ocean view. Daughter was in room 1114 same size as ours but huge terrace with parasol. Good plentiful food and dishes replenished often, no need to rush to dine! If u want to fill up on junk, u can! We prefer to eat healthy! Every kind of food, arranged beautifully. Too many staff to name. They deserve to be treated with respect and deserve to be tipped. Our room had everything for your comfort. 4 large wardrobes, ceiling fan, fridge, seperate loo & bidet, double sink, huge shower cubicle with overhead shower & hand held. Little touches like fragrant body lotion & hankies supplied. Fresh roses in room every day. Hotel public spaces full of vases with roses. Only 1 person was rude & ignorant. Lady in gift shop. We complained to reception. She is employed by a franchise but deserves to be sacked. If u want peace & quiet stay at Takida Beach as adult only and lifts for disabled. Stay in ocean suite rooms ground floor. Dunes deserves praise. If u want to criticise u can find fault. Minor marks on walls, a little bit of mold in shower cubicle but still very clean & not 1 cockroach 🪳 to be seen! Thank u Dunes for relaxing stay! Kindest regards Barbara & Steve Liverpool
