As we explained at the beginning of the year, 2025 will be very special for RIU Hotels & Resorts! One of the most exciting projects we have underway is the opening at the end of this year, of our first hotel in Canada: the Riu Plaza Toronto!

The Riu Plaza Toronto, the first RIU hotel in Canada
The first hotel in our RIU Plaza line opened in 2010, in Panama. Since then we have kept on expanding this successful range of urban hotels. Now, with our arrival in Toronto, we have a total of 12 establishments in top metropolitan destinations.
One of the distinguishing features of RIU Plaza hotels is their excellent location, always in the heart of the world’s major cities. And, of course, Toronto is no exception. The new hotel is located in the famous Entertainment District, the centre of the metropolis. From here, you can easily get to iconic spots like the imposing CN Tower, the legendary Rogers Centre, and the renowned Princess of Wales Theatre.
And as always at RIU, one of the highlights of our city hotels is the is the included buffet breakfast. What better way to start your day than with a good meal?
