On October 11, 2014 RIU Hotels & Resorts opened its second hotel on the paradise island of Aruba: the Riu Palace Antillas. Time flies and it’s no less than a staggering ten years since that great day. We couldn’t be more delighted! None of this would have been possible without the guests who place their trust in us and who come to the hotels year after year to enjoy an unforgettable holiday. And, of course, without the love and warmth shown by all our colleagues. This anniversary is for everyone!
It goes without saying that at RIU we are all about celebrating anniversaries as is customary. The team organised an event for the hotel’s staff to thank them for their incredible dedication and the exceptional service they provide each and every day to all our guests.
Today we would like to tell you about a few of the things that happened on this special day for our team and, of course, give you a couple of tips for when you come to visit us. Are you coming?
What services does the Riu Palace Antillas offer?
Surrounded by the boundless Caribbean Sea, Aruba is one of those destinations that you have to see at least once in your life. One of the picture-postcard beaches that surround this wonderful country, Palm Beach, is where you can find this special hotel. The 5-star hotel features 482 rooms and our renowned 24-hour all-inclusive service. In addition, all the rooms have recently been renovated, so modern and fresh spaces are waiting for you. The hotel is recommended for adults only, making it the ideal place for a romantic getaway with your partner or a relaxing trip with your friends.
Once you have arrived at the hotel, the hard part will be deciding where to start! If you’re looking for somewhere to relax and unwind, you can head off to the Renova Spa wellness centre. It offers a number of treatments, and there is a hairdressing salon and a beauty salon. The gym and the various Riu Fit activities are also just a stone’s throw away, the best way to stay in shape during your holiday!
The culinary offer is vast, with six restaurants and bars for you to choose from. So let the feasting begin!
The festivities continue at the hand of the Riu Party: our secret recipe for family fun that gets your hips moving on the dance floor! These colourful events take place once a week at the hotel and there are two types: White Parties and Neon Parties. When packing your suitcase, remember to consider what outfit you’re going to wear so you don’t look out of place!
As if that wasn’t enough, from October onwards we have a brand new treat in store for you! We are launching our exclusive and renowned Elite Club service! But that’s as far as into the future as we can see! As soon as we can, we will tell you about any new features on the horizon.
Where should I stay in Aruba?
Have you already pencilled in a getaway to Aruba on your calendar? Don’t rush away to book it yet, we have more to tell you, because we have another hotel in this Caribbean country! We actually opened our first hotel in the destination in 2007: the Riu Palace Aruba. This is a 5-star facility with 450 all-inclusive rooms.
We are very proud of the number of years we have spent in this fantastic location which has given us so much joy.
