This summer we’re back from Punta Cana with lots of news. We just celebrated the reopening of our ClubHotel Riu Bambu. Besides offering a totally updated image, we’ve added a series of extra amenities you don’t want to miss. Discover all that’s new in Punta Cana!
Now, at the ClubHotel Riu Bambu we have more rooms. Following the renovation, it has a total of 1,000 rooms, 260 of them newly built. They’re equipped with flat-screen satellite TV, a liquor dispenser and a minibar.
As for the facilities, you’ll find two new pools with swim-up bars, for a total of five swimming pools where you can spend the day as a family or with your group of friends. Plus, you’ll still have free access to the Splash Water World water park.
At our 24-hour All-Inclusive hotels in the Caribbean, you’ll always find countless activities for children and adults. But this year we’re adding the “Riu4U” daytime entertainment programme for teenagers from 13 to 17 years of age. Now you’ll have fun specially organised for every member of the family!
Gastronomy is an important part of your experience. So we wanted to add two new theme restaurants. “Olé” serves, a la carte, the best dishes from Spanish cuisine. The other new restaurant is “Kulinarium”, which serves Caribbean fusion cuisine.
If you want to work out during your stay, the hotel also has a new gym next to the beach. You’ll also still have access free of charge to windsurfing, kayaking, pedal boat and snorkeling equipment on the beach from our partner Scuba Caribe.

Hope the resort keeps the Caribbean theme. We were told it would so we book our trip in Fe. with my Daughter.

Amazing, I so wanted to go back this year for our 15 year anniversary, we honeymooned at the Bambu and it was awesome. Stayed at the Riu Macao next door instead.

We are staying at the Rui Bambu at the end of August, we are a family of three people we have booked a Deluxe room although your reception are saying we are in a standard room! Not happy as the travel agent said it will be a Deluxe double room with extra bed for a 15 year old.
I am concerned at the mood people are saying are I. The hall ways and rooms. We are away for our wedding anniversary 20 years! So this is an important holiday feeling r us.

Is there a teenagers club for night time…after dinner?

How far is the Splash park from this property and do you all provide transportation to the water park, if not on-site?

I will be visiting Riu Bambu this upcoming July (all inclusive package). It will be very helpful if you answer the following questions.
1) Can I check the other hotels such as the Riu Palace?
2) Could I use the pools and bars in all the hotels? Any limitations?
3) Are the disco drinks included in the all inclusive package?
4) Does Riu Bambu require a deposit on check-in?
