What an absolutely brilliant hotel! All the staff are amazing and make you feel welcome from day one. The reception team go out of their way to help with any requests, and the bell boys are always on hand to assist with luggage, making your arrival and departure completely stress-free. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and I would like to extend my thanks to all the cleaning staff. From those who keep the dining area immaculate to those who maintain the bar areas and public facilities, their hard work and attention to detail are evident throughout the resort. The housekeeping team are awesome. A massive thank you to the supervisor, Sadeep, and my room attendant, Prabash, who created amazing towel decorations on my bed every day. It was such a lovely touch and always brought a smile to my face. The Animation Team are brilliant and encouraged me to get involved in the pool games, which I would not normally participate in. A special thank you to Bawadtha and the entire team. The evening entertainment they provide is outstanding, and it is clear how much hard work goes on behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly and everyone has a great time. The waiters and waitresses in the dining area are exceptional and really look after their guests. My sincerest thanks go to Livera and Vimukthi, as well as every member of the team. I only wish I had been able to remember everyone's names because they all deserve recognition. The chefs are outstanding and work incredibly hard to ensure the food is always fresh, plentiful, and beautifully presented. Now to the bar staff and waiters... what can I say? They are all fantastic! Once again, I wish I had managed to get everyone's names, but a special mention must go to Sithum, Minidu, Shev, and Rohitha. Along with the rest of the team, they make the best drinks and provide exceptional service. The Sri Lankan Cocktail (bitter rather than sweet!) is absolutely out of this world, and the Vodka Cream is equally delicious for those of us who don't enjoy whisky. They are some of the friendliest, most welcoming people you could ever hope to meet. I truly hope I have made some wonderful friends here at RIU Sri Lanka. Will I be back? Oh yes, without a doubt! 😊 Thank you all for making my holiday so memorable.
